Now that Seattle summer has finally arrived...just as it is ending (typical)...we've spent a good deal of time at parks and playgrounds lately.  Wish you were here!

The next picture was taken at the Snoqualmie Railroad Days outing we took.  

Finn loved his very first train ride!

This little boy LOVES to swing...especially with his eyes closed.  He floats back and forth with the most peaceful, calm look on his face...as if he's in a completely different world.  His little body nearly goes limp in the bucket seat, and he begins to lean to one side, succumbing to the motion.  He'll keep his eyes closed like that for a long time, too.  Just swinging and feeling the rhythm.   I LOVE when he does this.

Dad's Surprise!

The other day, Dad came home from work with yet another pink T-Mobile goodie...boxing gloves!  Every kid needs a pair of bright pink boxing gloves!

Yeah...they were a hit.  Can you tell?

I love this next picture because it captures Finn doing what he does 90% of the time, lately...looking up at his big brother in pure admiration.  Finn always checks Koen's face to see if he's excited or laughing, or enjoying something he's eating.  I'm quite sure that Koen is Finn's most favorite person EVER!  It's terribly precious.

Let's just say, we've had quite a few living room boxing matches lately.  The kids especially love it when  Clay slaps the floor with each count (all the way to 10) after one of them goes down...gently.  They stay on the ground smiling until he reaches nine...and then they jump back up for more.
