Wow! Life took a sharp turn down Crazy Avenue. Due to preschool duties, p-patch garden volunteering, two energetic little boys and some minor technical difficulties, the blog has gone dormant. So sorry. I'd love to say it will never happen again, but I'm smarter than that. :)
Bear with me.
So! We spent nearly three glorious weeks in Utah with our loved ones. As usual, there are far too many stories to recall in one single post, so I will let the pictures do most of the talking. Some of our most memorable activities include the following:
- lounging at Nana & Papa's house,
- going to Park Silly Sunday,
- playing in Grammie Pat's & Grandpa Dan's back yard,
- taking a hay ride at Wheeler Farm,
- spending a few days at Grandpa's condo,
- wandering the Ogden farmer's market and meeting a tricky horse that likes to have his teeth brushed,
- walking around Silver Lake (and seeing a moose!),
- watching uncle Jake's football game
- and staying at the Bear Lake cabin, riding tractors, boats and playing games.

Koen learned to drive ATV's all by himself, much to my dismay. :)
Koen got in plenty of time riding his Mongoose tricycle.
He perfected the art of riding backward.
We dragged Daddy to the South Ogden splash pad on a hot day.
I dare say he had as much fun as the kids did!
Nana took us to see the big trains at Union Station.
I had no idea how truly immense those engines are!
Koen spent a great deal of time in this swing, just relaxin'.

Our 'hike' with Grandpa was perfect.

He plowed through almost eight wedges (rind and all),
before we had to cut him off. There were major tears.

Grandpa Dan gave oodles of tractor rides. Koen couldn't get enough.
He especially loved the afternoon they rode around picking up firewood.
Then Grandpa Dan taught him how to build a campfire in the pit.

A mini, cousin reunion happened at James' and Karly's wedding shower. Many of the Brady's were in attendance and it was wonderful to reconnect a bit. We attempted a 'cousin's only' photo session, but for some reason a certain little boy refused to let go of his mom's pants. :)
