Eleven!!

August 15, 1998.....We said our vows under a canopy of trees, near a small pond, in a beautiful canyon with a goose honking noisily in the background. I wore a white dress, Clay and his brothers wore white tube socks with their tuxes. An ostrich snatched the flower wreath off my little sister's head, causing my high-heeled aunt to jump in the pen and chase it down! You show that bird who's boss, Sinikka!

But it was the most perfect day in my memory...I married my best friend.

Eleven years and two kids later, I couldn't be happier! We went on a date tonight as a foursome. Several babysitting offers were made by various friends, but we turned them down. Our little boys are our buddies and we really wanted to have them with us. So we went out for a fun dinner followed by a much needed trip to Molly Moon's ice cream shop! Red Currant and Mojito Sorbet are the two newbies on the flavor list. Yum!
