Utah update...

We've been in Utah for a week now, and it's been really fun and relaxing. Koen has had lots of time with his family. He really enjoyed spending the nights at Grandpa Briggs' condo and eating his breakfast in a "big boy chair" at Grandpa's big kitchen table. He also loved throwing around Grandpa's partially deflated exercise balls...saying "whoa!" or "Oh my gosh!" each time.

During the days, we would meet up with Grandma and Grandpa Dan and the kids for whatever activities were going on at the time. We got to watch Jessy play basketball (Olympus won!). Koen was sooo enthralled with the event. His eyes were glued to his aunt Jessy as she ran back and forth across the court. He loved it! We also got to see Jake wrestle with the Oly Junior wrestling team (undefeated for I don't know how many years). They won the match, of course. And this sport was a little different for the boy. He's never seen, nor heard of wrestling. So he basically just stared at the guys as they grabbed each other, rolling around on the mat. He looked slightly confused, but definitely interested. We cooked yummy food, and played with all the balls Koen could handle.

Now we are up in Ogden with Nana and Papa, and having another really nice time. Koen is so happy to see Zeus and run around the house. He loves the "Elmo" domino set that Nana has pulled out, and the pop-up books are a huge hit! Daddy comes tomorrow night, and we are super excited to see him!

This morning we also drove down to Salt Lake and met with our old Moms & Babies group. All the kids are running around and talking...not the babies we remember from before. So that was really fun to reconnect with them. We have some pictures to share, but that will have to wait until we return to Seattle.

Until then...more fun to come!
